Description
Sage grows a height of between 20 and 25 inches. It is completely pubescent and has a quadrangular, branched stalk. Its leaves are 1-2 inches long and have a rough surface with serrated edges. The leaves growing further up plant are small and deciduous. The roots are tightly bunched together. The tubular flowers grows closely together with between 5 and 10 flowers per bunches. They are either light violet or pink in colour.

The seeds can be field-sown in April or can be planted in a greenhouse towards the end of winter.
