Rossa di Treviso Precoce
It is an early variety which provides a compact head with long leaves of red and white color. To have a very light white color you can put the sproutings underground covered with straw. Use raw in mixed salads for color and a sharp tangy flavor contrast.
To obtain vigorous heads directly in rows spaced 16 inches apart in July-August for cutting at the end of autumn-winter.
