This is an annual, herbaceous plant, similar to parsley. It has a furry, branched stalk and grows to a height of between 16 - 32 inches. The leafed plant has white flowers which have five petals each and are bunched together in groups of 3 - 5.
The seeds can either be bedded out from March to September, or during winter in large pots in a heated greenhouse. Harvesting can start 6-10 weeks after sowing.
