Description
This typical salad variety has cylindrical fruits, 6 - 8 inches long, with a rounded tip. it has a dark green skin, firm flesh with few seeds. The central sprouts should be pinched out above first four leaves, repeating operation after side-sprouts have grown. It has an abundant production from first fruits onwards.
Sowing Period
Sow outdoors from March to June at intervals of 12 to 16 inches with 3 feet between rows. Sow 2-3 seeds per hole, thinning out after germination.
