Melone Retato Degli Ortolani
An elongated, round fruit with pronounced, net-like marks on the surface. Its orange, pulpy and compact flesh is sweet and fragrant with very few seeds. It is grown in all regions thanks to its adaptability to all types of soil and climate. It is resistant to over-ripening, making it suitable for transporting over long distances.
Sow outdoors in rows from March to June, leaving 3 feet between each seed hole. Plant 2/3 seeds per hole, thinning out after germination.
